Why the asterisk?

Unlimited plans do not have a fixed total data allowance for your trip. The daily high-speed allowance and reduced speed are shown above when provided by the supplier. After the daily high-speed allowance is used, data continues at a reduced speed until the allowance resets. Check the selected plan's fair-use terms.

Start each day at full speed Use your daily high-speed allowance for streaming, maps, social media, gaming and general browsing.
Stay connected after the allowance If you use the full daily allowance, your data continues at a reduced speed until the daily allowance resets.
No fixed trip-wide data cap Your daily allowance refreshes throughout the selected duration of your plan.

We use the term Unlimited* because there is no fixed total data allowance for your trip. The asterisk highlights that full-speed data is subject to the stated daily allowance and the network's Fair Usage Policy.

If an Unlimited* plan is not right for your trip, you may prefer one of our prepaid fixed-data eSIM plans for Portugal.
